UN Academic Impact
Cambridge Education is proud to have been invited to join the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and to have attended its official launch in New York in November 2010.
Academic Impact is a global initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in actively supporting ten universally accepted principles in areas that include human rights, education for all, global citizenship, sustainability, and peace and conflict resolution. We will demonstrate our commitment to at least one of these principles each year. In 2011 we supported teacher professional development in twelve countries, including Nigeria, Ghana and Pakistan as part of our not-for-profit work through Cambridge Education Foundation. In 2012 we have extended our work to include Sierra Leone and Zambia.
Please see our latest report on accrediting teachers’ professional learning.
