Cambridge Education offers an extensive range of skills and experience, which underpin the services we offer around the world.
Key Education skills
We work at all levels in education, ranging from basic education, through to secondary and higher education as well as technical and vocational education and training (TVET). We offer expertise in policy formulation, planning, research, school improvement, education management, teaching, learning, testing and assessment. Further areas of expertise include teacher training, textbook and curriculum development, distance education, monitoring and evaluation and education management information systems (EMIS).
Programme and Project Management
Our expertise comes to the fore in the management of large scale projects and programmes in partnership with national governments around the globe. We have been involved at all stages of project design, implementation, review and evaluation. We are experienced in providing support to sector development plans and Sector Wide Approaches (SWAps).
We work equally confidently in formal school systems and nonformal education programmes.
Associated skill areas
We have further expertise in areas that go hand in hand with education. For example we employ several social development specialists to ensure that all aspects of equity, gender and ethnicity are an integral part of our work. We also specialise in labour market economics. Within our parent group we are linked closely to other departments which deal with health, water, environment and public sector management. We are therefore able to offer integrated support across several sectors where required and to carry out studies in aid effectiveness.
