UK government contract

Cambridge Education has long been involved in advising and inspecting schools.

All schools over the last six years have received professional support from Cambridge Education staff to help them set targets for their headteachers. The company has inspected large numbers of schools across the country under section 5 of the 2004 Education and Inspections Act.

Cambridge Education was then successful in gaining the contract to inspect all schools in the East Midlands and East Anglia ('Midlands East' region) from September 2005. It is one of five Regional Inspection Providers.

The company won a second major contract which began in September 2006, to inspect a large proportion of private schools under section 162a of the Education Act.

Ofsted Inspection

Cambridge Education has been a major provider to Ofsted of school inspection support services since its inception in the 1990s, making arrangements for 3,000 inspections to date, deploying over 2,000 inspectors to 20,000 deployments.

St Francis of Assisi Academy:  Cambridge Education provided client-side direction to the Design Team on behalf of the Sponsors. 
DfES/DCSF Diploma Gateway Programme

Cambridge Education was selected in 2006 to partner the (then) DfES 14-19 Policy and Local Delivery Unit in the design and delivery of the groundbreaking Diploma Gateway.
