Experience of supporting schools to achieve the most from their ICTSee below examples of the challenges faced in different types of schools and academies and how we supported them to get better value from their ICT.Primary Holy Trinity Holy Trinity Primary School went from being a one form of entry school to a two form of entry school as part of their £7million development programme. Cambridge Education were employed to advise on the educational, technical and implementation of the ICT requirements.
Secondary/Academies Academy 360 Cambridge Education provided ICT consultancy to three academies as part of an Authority-wide BSF process.
Cambridge Education was heavily involved in the development of Academy 360 from the existing Pennywell and Quarry View Schools, working with all stakeholders to ensure that curricular and administrative requirements of ICT were incorporated into the building design throughout the two phase development of the £25million building. Special Schools Pond Meadow School  We worked with the Local Authority and Pond Meadow School to develop a vision for ICT that promoted their desired aspirations for a learning environment that used leading technology to promote personalised learning in an inclusive and innovative environment. We developed this vision into a detailed functional specification and ICT strategy that met the education needs of the schools and was fully integrated into the design solution. Change Management Sandwell Cambridge Education working as part of the Environments for Learning Consortium (E4L) is the education partner with Sandwell MBC through the Building Schools for the Future programme.
A local Education Partnership (LEP), Sandwell Futures Ltd has been formed to deliver the £250m investment programme of new buildings, refurbishment and ICT investment. Find out more
