Making good teaching outstanding

This practical training course reviews the characteristics of effective learning and teaching and demonstrates how teachers can raise the quality of teaching and so impact further on the learning taking place.

Who is it suitable for?
The programme is aimed at teaching staff keen to support each other in raising teaching into the "good" and "outstanding" categories and so make a greater impact on learning.

What is it ?
A one day training programme during which participants will be able to work collaboratively to explore the key qualities of good and outstanding teaching. There will be the opportunity to take part in a range of practical and interactive activities designed to inform participants as well as empowering them in continuing professional development for themselves and for their colleagues.
