The EC Framework Contract (Lot 9)

The Cambridge Education Consortium (CEC), led by Cambridge Education and comprising 13 members in total, manages the European Commission Framework Contract on Education, Employment and Social Services (Lot 9).

In 2009, having successfully managed the framework since 2005, our consortium was awarded a new contract to manage Lot 9 until September 2011.

This framework contract provides short-term technical assistance, exclusively for developing countries, via individual assignments which are mobilised at very short notice (usually three weeks). Through this framework contract we provide technical assistance that may be required at any stage in the project cycle. Lot 9 covers the sectors such as:

  • Culture;
  • Education;
  • Vocational Education and Training;
