We have a significant record of delivering national social care programs on behalf of the Department of Education and supporting national health organisations, including health regulators, clinical commissioning groups, and acute providers.
Our skills and competencies include major programme management, national policy implementation, management consultancy, service improvement and operational leadership. Our staff and associates have director and assistant director experience in both NHS and local authorities.
The Children’s Workforce Development Council
The CWDC was commissioned by the Department for Children Schools and Families to develop and implement the pilot programme for the Assisted Supported Year in Employment for newly qualified social workers during their first year of employment. We were appointed to provide support to all employers participating in the pilot over a three year period. 144 local authorities and voluntary sector organisations enrolled on the pilot with over 800 participating in the programme.
Nursing and Midwifery Council
The Nursing and Midwifery Council ( NMC) is responsible for the largest number of health and social care professionals in the UK, with over 685,000 nurses and midwives currently registered with the NMC. We provide the operational delivery of their Quality Assurance Framework to provide a service to the public that is targeted, accountable, transparent, and proportionate.
General Optical Council
To support the General Optical Council (GOC) in their approach to promote and enforce high standards of education and training within the optical profession, we have supported the GOC in reviewing their policies and procedures and provided leadership capacity on the accreditation and quality assurance process of optical education and its associated training providers.
Adoption Support Fund
The Department for Education developed The Adoption Support Fund in 2013 to provide additional financial support to adoptive families to access therapeutic services. We were commissioned to develop and implement a prototype fund, which included the development on the online application tools and systems for distribution. We were subsequently successful in securing the national fund management role. This role also includes supporting local authorities. Over the last two years we have helped support over 3000 families across the country with over £30 million going to children and families.
