The Calculus Projects in Malden and Orlando have resulted in more than 1,000 students of color earning access and opportunity to rigorous mathematics courses.
What motivates you?
I'm motivated by the challenge of solving problems that people believe cannot be solved. I like giving back and helping people, so that adds fuel to the work I do.
What does education mean to you?
Education means freedom to do what you want to do. As a member of the first generation in my family to attend college, it has been just as important as the air I breathe.
