Cambridge Education is led by a team of highly accomplished educational leaders. Our management team is made up of recognised experts in government policy, school improvement, leadership development, instructional design, student achievement and blended learning.

Dr Rita Ellul

Technical Director

Dr Rita Ellul has had a 30-year career in education, in school, regional and system roles with the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Rita has broad experience in professional learning for teachers and school leaders, including online learning. Rita has led a range of school-based research projects including the innovative use of new and emerging technologies and games-based learning and has also worked in policy development. Rita has experience in all facets of project management, including conceptual development, detailed project planning and evaluation. She has experience managing complex projects involving wide-ranging stakeholders such as government, schools, universities, contractors and corporate partners.

Kate Baulch

Senior Project Manager

An experienced manager, project manager and facilitator, who has worked across primary, secondary and tertiary education sectors over the past 30 years.
Extensive experience in managing and overseeing state and national projects from project initiation to project closure, working with a broad range of stakeholders and clients within government and non-government organisations.
Experience in education policy review, development and implementation and in the regulation of teachers and schools including undertaking school reviews.
Has developed and reviewed state and national curriculum and associated support materials and advice. Has considerable experience in developing assessment strategies and advice for teachers and schools.
Significant expertise in the design and delivery of professional learning programs for teachers and courses of study in the tertiary sector.
Extensive experience in public speaking and facilitation, briefing sessions, conference keynote addresses and workshops and comprehensive professional learning programs.

Karen Sturzaker

Senior Project Manager

Over 15 years experience as an educator in schools, both primary and secondary, and as a lecturer, unit coordinator and teaching coach in the tertiary sector.

Extensive experience leading and managing staff and project teams to facilitate the achievement of project objectives in a global environment with respect to project scope, quality, timelines, budget and risk; providing high level project management including: project conceptualisation, planning, implementation, analysis, assessment and review, administration and financial management and risk management.

Has a wide range of experience working in the online and face-to-face environment as a facilitator and content developer of programs of units for undergraduate early childhood and primary education pre-service teachers and adult learners. Managed a suite of practicum units, working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders such as content developers, instructional designers, facilitators and unit coordinators to ensure that all units were of high quality, engaging and achieved the required quality assurance standard.

Worked extensively with stakeholders in a coaching capacity in online and face-to-face content delivery to identify staff training needs and provide coaching to improve performance and to contribute to overall professional development, including designing and implementing effective metrics for measuring success and providing input into continuous development and improvement.

Courtney Walker

Project Manager

Courtney provides thorough and comprehensive management of Cambridge Education’s suite of programs. She is involved in the successful delivery of large scale, high profile programs and provides support to our consultancy work. Her broad experience encompasses: financial management and cost control, software and online platform support and contract coordination. In addition to this, Courtney’s breadth of experience extends to coordinating state-wide workshops, twilight seminars, international conferences working with internal and external clients from a variety of government and private sectors.

Catherine Giannoukos

Project Administrator

With 7+ years’ experience within various admin roles across government and private sectors, Catherine has a broad range of skills across a diverse range of areas.

From one on one PA support; including diary, meeting and event management, updating agendas and minutes, to the broader day to day running of offices, including the mentoring of junior staff and in-depth confidential data management, Catherine has a highly organised approach and utilises a range of IT to support her role.

Catherine has proven experience in high level customer service and the ability to support the Cambridge Education team across multiple administration facets.

Anna Thiry

Project Administrator

Anna possess a working knowledge of more than six years in Marketing, Customer Service, Administration, and Event positions. She has successfully managed numerous projects in Events and Marketing for both Defence Force Recruiting and Victoria University. In her previous role she was responsible for the planning, coordination and administration of events within Victoria and Regional NSW with Defence Force Recruiting. She holds a degree in a Bachelor of Business in Marketing.
