Quality assurance

We offer our clients completely tailored audit requirements, investigating the quality provided at all organisational levels.

Our educational and commercial assurance experts work extensively with national and regional bodies to identify and evaluate risks, allowing them to be appropriately managed and resulting in clear, demonstrable and long-term benefits.

Collaborating for success

We have developed an innovative model of self-evaluation in which teams and leaders working in sub-committees are an integral part of the review. This has proved to be a very powerful resource, particularly in the context of turning around performance.

These collaborative teams devise the quality statements, the criteria and the expected standards to be relevant to local, regional or national circumstances, then learn to use them for self-assessment. There are two main goals.

  1. To provide the organisation with an accurate sense of its current strengths and areas for improvement.
  2. To build capacity within the school for continuous, self-aware change.

Our review team will incorporate evidence benchmarked across the industry, supporting your team in effectively sharing the findings with the wider stakeholders so people are clear about what they must do and have a strong evidence base on which to plan improvements.

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

The NMC is responsible for the largest number of health and social care professionals in the UK, with over 685,000 nurses and midwives currently registered. We provide the operational delivery of their Quality Assurance Framework to provide a service to the public that is targeted, accountable, transparent, and proportionate.

Darlington Borough Council

We led on the development and successful submission of the Better Care Fund providing senior leadership capacity to the council’s commissioning service; designing and planning a joint commissioning service between the local authority and clinical commissioning group, resulting in the establishment of a joint Director of Commissioning.

As part of the work we led on the development of a co-production agreement between the voluntary sector and the statuary services and provided line management to the commissioning service within the local authority.
