Why did you choose to join Cambridge Education?
I was introduced to Cambridge Education by a colleague of mine, Haydon Lyons. He shared his Cambridge experience with me and I was intrigued. I initially viewed it as an opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with other educators across the United States. Since joining Cambridge, I have had this opportunity and I have also learned a great deal.
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is impacting and enhancing student learning. This is what drew me into education years ago and it continues to be the driving force behind the work I engage in every day.
What happens in a typical day at your job?
I don't know that there is a "typical" day at my job. I may be delivering professional development to school staff, engaging in instructional coaching with teachers, serving as a thought partner for school leaders or facilitating a school quality review. I engage in a myriad of educational experiences and they are all designed to support schools by improving student learning.
